Killiney beach is a lovely stony beach very close to the DART station. As parking is rather limited, it is advised to visit the place by DART, especially because it takes only a few minutes to reach the beach from the station. The beach is suitable for bathing and swimming as well, however, it is not a surfers' paradise. Right next to Killiney beach there is White Rock beach, so even on sunny days, the place does not feel crowded, as there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the sunshine.
